Santa Caterina Valfurva, San Colombano and Cima Piazzi Happy Mountain) offers a variety of tracks to skiers at all levels. Valdidentro is also a well known Spa resort. Here you can spend relaxing and energizing holidays. In Valdidentro you can practice snowboard, telemark, freestyle, alpine ski. You can walk with snow rackets, go Nordic walking, iceskate or enjoy sled dog excursions. In Winter, the most important attraction of Valdidentro is the Viola Track: a wonderful track which goes through woods and fairytale landscapes where you can ski surrounded by a magical silence. It is thanks to its treasures that the Valdidentro is ready to host for the first time the four races of the Nordic Ski World Cup – Cross Country. We wait for you!

The Viola Track
The Valdidentro is particularly known for the practice of Nordic Ski. The Viola Track runs through a wonderful and unforgettable scenary along the homonymous river which connects the four villages of the Valdidentro. The agonistc track is even more renowned for its features. The track is regularly homologated and is suitable to host any international race. The Viola track has been chosen many times to host the Italian absolute Championships, the National Youth Games, the National Youth races. Its technical peculiarities make the Viola Track one of the first tracks in Italy. Next to the Start and Finishing points of the the Viola Track you can find the newly built Nordic Ski Centre which is at complete disposal of skiers. This centre hosts the Nordic Ski School, a ski rental point and other services such as changing rooms and waxing cabins. The touristic track is relatively easy and is 25 km. Long. The track is suitable both for classic skiing and skating tecnique.

Biathlon
The explosive combination between an intense muscolar ski work and the necessary precision of rifle shooting: we are talking about biathlon a sport which has been developing continuously in the last few years and which has become one of the most popular winter sports. In Valdidentro you can find a new biathlon polygon with 30 targets. The target range shooting distance is 50 metres. The biathlon is regularly homologated and suitable both for national and international races and training.
